Find and use your local Christian resource centre

There are still hundreds of physical Christian Bookshops all across the UK, but if we want them to remain, we all need to be using and supporting them. Over recent years, bricks and mortar shops have taken a battering from all sides including:
– the rise of online shopping
– rising costs
– competition
– the changing shape of retail
– changes in shopping habits

On this page, you will find a few directories and options for finding physical UK Christian Bookshops near you.

Please support your local Christian bookshop

We would encourage you to regularly visit your local Christian bookstore and support them. This will help to keep a Christian bookshop on the street. Many Christian bookshops also have cafes, and so this is another way you can support their ministry. Most bookshops are always in need of volunteers to help in the shop serving customers, or helping with administration of stock and premises. Volunteering is an excellent way to support your local Christian resource centre.

This page is by no means exhaustive, and will be added to over time. You can suggest a link for consideration to be added to this page here.

More ways to find a local Christian bookshop in your area…

If you are unable to find your local Christian bookshop in the directories above, you could also try:
– looking in your local church contact information
– asking other Christians living in your area
– search through local business and retail business information for your area
– search on Google or Bing  for a bricks-and-mortar bookshop in your area. Coming soon – search directly on this site for local Christian bookshop information.

Do you manage or run a physical UK Christian Bookshop?

Send us some information – perhaps a brief history of your shop, or something significant about your shop and also include the name of your Christian Bookshop, location / town and most importantly a link your website or at least bookshop contact details (not personal details!). We then might turn that in to a blog post on UK Christian Web – so a personally written encouraging story or article about your shop would be ideal. Contacts us here with your article and info to be considered.
